Hoo-lah Hoop Play For Kids
As a trained kids hoop dance instructor, I have created a Hoo-lah Hoop Play for Kids program so that children can receive all the benefits of remaining active while having a great time!!! I offer programs that give kids an opportunity to be active. Sometimes it can be difficult to get kids to exercise, but in my experience if they are handed a hula hoop they think of it as play. Most children love to play; therefore, hula hooping gives them the chance to do what they love and get the exercise that they need.
I offer workshops and classes to a variety of organizations that are seeking to offer a fun activity for children from preschool age through 18, such as libraries, dance studios, boys and girls clubs, and Girl Scout troops.
Workshops are 45 minutes in duration (30 minutes for preschoolers), hoops are provided, and each workshop is designed specifically to the needs of your program. Workshops consist of a warm-up, learning some fabulous hoop moves, games, and team building exercises for children of all ages. Hoop making workshops can also be arranged at an additional cost and will extend the length of the workshop.
Classes are 45 minutes per week. You can choose how many weeks you would like to have the program provided to your organization. The classes are consecutive and each class will build on the class before. Children will learn to perform various tricks and moves with the hoop as well as play a few fun hoop games each week. These classes ensure that kids are getting at least 45 minutes per week of fun-filled exercise.
